Ow ow ow...

The thing that sucks about stopping running is the pain you have to go through again when you start. All my hard earned foot callous' have disappeared. Now I am getting them back with blisters first. I hate feet blisters. :-(

I really wish that I hadn't taken such a big break from running. Ah well.

I never got blisters from running. I haven't run in a long time, But when I did I never got blisters. Seems kind of odd to me. I know I always get them when I rollerblade/skate though. They usually Don't happen if I wear 2 pairs of socks. I think it's the concrete/asphalt that does it. I always ran on nature trails. Which is why I don't run anymore. No nature trails in the city. There's probably a reason for the blisters, like your feet not agreeing with the footwear.

I don't think it has anything to do with running on asphalt but more to do with how flat footed I am. I get the blisters on my arches which isn't normally a super pressure point for feet.

Why did you stop running?

I stopped running because I can't stand running on asphalt/concrete. I need some nice bush trails to run on.
