Bad point about Japan's rail system: groping on packed trains is a serious problem.

Good point: despite mass crowding during rush hours, the trains are always on time to the second.

Bad point: the most common reason for a train being late is somebody committing suicide on the tracks.

Good point: if your train is late, you can get an official written apology from the stationmaster to present at work.
