Yokohama Chinatown
(Some photos by Van, some photos by Mom) Friday January 21, 2005
I am living in Yokohama, home of 3 million people, and Yokohama itself is part of an unbreaking urban sprawl consuming Tokyo and several other cities. Living daily life usually means shuttling from my neighbourhood on top of a hill to the pedestrian mall area where I work and a few shopping areas in between. I don't always realize how big this city is, until I see something like Chinatown - bigger, brighter, and busier than most streets in Ottawa.
Reminds me of a scene from Ghost In The Shell 2 when they go that city. So much light everywhere. Posted by roy on January 23, 2005 04:08 AM |
