Visitors

Van and Suguru came to visit me (and possibly to see Japan) over the holidays!

For two weeks, my tiny apartment housed me, Van, and Suguru more or less comfortably. It was awesome to have time off work, and it was awesome to have visitors to go and see Japan with. Sometimes a tourist sees more of a country than a citizen.

We spent weekends in Kyoto, the old capital, and Matsumoto, a winter resort. In between there was the New Year's rave, Yokohama's Chinatown, and Tokyo. On their own, the guys went to the famous fish market, Akihabara high-tech district, and a hundred comic book shops.
