My Apartment

Most of my apartment fits into this one picture.

Here's a tour of my typical Japanese apartment in Yokohama. It's small, it's expensive, and the washing machine is outside, but it's mine.

The kitchen, the front door, and the bathroom on the right.

This is the kitchen. The top of the fridge serves as the counter.

This is the bathroom. I don't know why the toilet is installed on an angle like that.

The main room, being the only room. My futon on the left is supposed to be stored away in the closet during the day to make room, but that really seems like a lot of work to me.

The other side of the main room, the closet, and the wet clothes-hanger. If you visit me you get to use one of the polka-dotted pillows.
