I've been toying with the idea of having James as my roommate in the new house back home. Even though he is slobby, and does laundry too much, the past month was too great to ignore. I loved living with James. And with Tanya too, but somehow I feel we should never live together full on.

There was such a connection living with James, such an immediate and fulfilling revival of our old friendship and the beginning of another ten years.

I have no connection with Dani, the roommate in my temporary apartment. The human spark between us is so non-existant that she may as well be a robot with evil-coloured eyes. It's like looking at what I must surely have been like to most of my old roommates. Her British accent makes me feel more alienated.

Would I still be able to enjoy living with James when it's my home instead of his?
