I've never been so drunk or so high before without it ending badly. In the way that only a fellow partygoer would want to rehash the details, and in the way that I don't remember everything but what I do remember is good, it was almost a perfect party. It was almost a perfect party, except that he and I barely said hello to each other when I arrived, and we barely said goodbye when he left the next morning to go to Los Angeles. I am one who experiences ecstasy but not happiness.
