A meeting of several groups of friends
Renuka's friend Letitia was there and we made a pleasant connection
Roy's friend Lisa and I knew each other from university
A cool guy I knew from Chapters fit in well with Roy's group and I got to say I knew him
I found a dollar, and on the whole didn't spend too much money
Changing my opinion about Sam's friend Alex for the better
The bartender was nice as always and gave me cheap drinks
The DJ likes me enough to play my song, even though he had already played it earlier in the night
General feeling of connectedness
CONS
5 hour wait to go from the lower bar to the upstairs club
Feeling that Barrymore's is bullshit with its guest list and non-regulars
Changing my opinion about Sam's friend Alex back to dislike
Sam displaying irrational rage at my friend Roy stemming from Sam's seriously dysfunctional relationship with Tanya
Losing my friendship with Sam because of my opinions regarding said irrational and said dysfunctional
General feeling of disconnectedness
