Maybe there needs to be another place to go that we all find so comfortable, where we can all be our most attractive, where we can be guaranteed such a good time, where we can go to get away from even ourselves. Because Sam and Tanya can never be friends while they're both still looking for someone else and seeing only each other. I could never be friends with my ex-boyfriends; we proved that when the passion stage ended and there was nothing left but convenience. By the time we broke up I would hate them. Friendship is so much more worthwhile than an ex.
