latest archive about email links yearbook japan photoblog wish list	Wed Apr 02 03 / 12:35 AM Spent the last two days in Renfrew helping my mom paint her house for selling, and feeling weird each time I am in town not calling Jen. The time seemed to go fast, and the painting slow, but I'm sure she got more done with me here than without. And although I am back to work in half a day like I never left, I probably would have spent my time in Ottawa in a similarly unwashed, unsocial - but unproductive - state. I volunteered because I had no better plan for my time, because I am a good daughter, because she is a good mother, because she is a woman and single and maybe alone, and because I want to make my world perfect.
