Sheena is moving out by March, continuing the trend of upstairs mobility that began with Jen. She's lived here longer than I've known her, but that's been long enough. I am almost ready to write her off.

Sometimes I hear something in her voice, when she's talking and no one's listening, that makes me feel bad for not liking her more. I think I hear a note that whispers, "This isn't what I had in mind for when I grew up. This isn't what I wanted at all." And in that brief audible moment I want to whisper back, "Don't you see what you're doing? You feel like you've claimed a summit, but all you've done is settled."

She asks if Sree is done in the shower, and continues talking after Sree's brief answer, explaining herself, wanting to talk to anyone but the same boy in her bed. But although she's nice, she's a horrible roommate.
