I went to the Ottawa U bar with him, where we were to meet his friends for their graduation party. I felt like a good girlfriend, but didn't expect to have a good time. The free drinks lightened my unease; seeing my brother before I'd ordered my first changed my entire outlook. So we drank and we danced and we laughed; I met new people and an old friend. I was entertained and entertaining, luminescent in the spotlight, and even when it was all over I still had him in my arms. Everyone should have a partner like him. Everyone should have a brother like Mike. But I'll never give them up.
