Wed Oct 17 01 / 7:36 AM God, another birthday. This year, I was so busy seeing Australia that I didn't even see it coming. I don't feel one year older - I feel I've only lived a few months worth since the last birthday. Each one I wanted to last forever, each one better than the last. This year though, I had no time to think about what getting this much older would mean, has meant. This year's birthday is the first to surprise me, the first to come upon me without a plan for the next, the first to leave me older without an idea to overcome it. I am going nowhere right now but towards my next birthday. |
