He will still be in Australia for a few days, but he is effectively removed from my life (of sorts) here. I miss him already, woe is me. With my first hour of freedom I went shopping for souvenirs in Brisbane (bought none) and food (for one). I was interviewed for a television news segment on the length of shorts. I am a bit cranky, but this hostel is familiar. The first test of my merits will be tomorrow when I arrive, alone, in Byron Bay.
