latest archive about email links yearbook japan photoblog wish list	Thu Sep 27 01 / 7:14 AM I've been to and from Magnetic Island, koala capital of Australia, and now head to Fraser Island, the dingo capital of Australia. Magnetic Island was good and quiet. I got to swim in an ocean for the first time, and it was far from romantically adventurous - it was rather yucky. Much harsher tasting than I'd ever expected. Well, now I know. We walked through an old WWII defence camp in search of peaceful koalas. The one obligingly adorable koala we did find drew groups of multiple nationalities to ooh ahh and laugh with. So we came all the way to Magnetic Island for three days to see this one wild koala, but I don't think I could have left Australia satisfied without it.
