latest archive about email links yearbook japan photoblog wish list	Sun Jul 01 01 / 5:50 AM Wasn't even sure what day it was here, in Japan. But after asking, it turns out to be Canada Day, which I celebrate by leaving the country. Hanging out with some Canadians at the Osaka airport though, that's gotta be worthy of a beer commercial. The flights have been good, uneventful, bad food, pretty stewardesses, good movies. To be expected. It's hard to tell I'm really somewhere else yet, in this haze of terminal shuttles and molded chairs. The best difference so far though, is the sun. I left Canada in the light of early morning, and it is now exactly 24 hours later. It has been daylight the entire time. Now, as we descend, the sun is finally setting - over a Japanese harbour. There's a moon too. Somehow I didn't expect to see the moon on this side of the world.
