Dream #8

This dream was no less weird than any other, but I like it because I actually recognize all the elements therein - they are just reorganized in such a manner as only a brain is capable of.

last night's dream:

I was in a foreign country, and trying to get out. The plan was to sneak across the border, but I couldn't go empty-handed; there was something I had to get out of the country. That something turned out to be rubber balls and vials of glitter. A friend gave me a long skirt and shawl for a disguise, and I carried the goods under my shirt as I got into a boat and left the country by sea.

While driving down a river as a passenger in this boat, there was a little dream change. I went from being a smuggler to being a farmer under attack by pirates. In my boat were millions of miniature cows, and two winter-coated men were sloshing through the water towards me carrying scythes. They used their weapons to open holes in the hull, and as the water rushed in, I knew I had 48 seconds to get my livestock to safety.

To solve the situation, I attacked the pirates with their own weapons. Though I tried to hit their heads with the flat of the blade, I ended up slicing open their necks, and the attack fell off. Turning back to the problem at hand, I managed to maneuver the boat to shore, which happened to be the front yard of a seaside estate. I opened the gate on the boat and millions of tiny cows poured out onto the lawn. As they spread across the grass, they turned into tiny bunnies and arctic foxes.

Seeing this transformation, I became grievously worried that foxes like to eat bunnies, and I ran around the lawn in a panic. As I ran, I squashed little animals under my feet, but it couldn't be helped.
