So today I feel a little bit better about my job. That is to say, I have achieved a sense of self-worth that is slightly above the level of useless tit.

I have been working with one of the project officers all day who was given the task of getting me some real work to do. We brainstormed all morning, she got me permission to use some services around the building that I will need to make use of, and most importantly: she showed me where the food court was.

I will no doubt be monumentally cowed on Monday morning when I have to take on these projects by myself, but right now I am feelin' fine. (And hey, it's Friday.)

I like to look at world maps and read the names of all the little islands and which country they belong to.
