Does someone plan these things? - the return of Christ, Y2K computer bug, Chinese Year of the Dragon, a leap year ... and now this. The Sun, the Moon, and the five naked-eye planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) will align, and then ... nothing. Tickets won't be honoured because the planets will be too close to the Sun to be seen. Still, it's pretty neat, almost romantic. My Martian, my universal power, my star shine, is wishing me well and hinting at the view I'm missing while down here. Down. Why is down such a bad place? It just is.
